「Necromunda: Hired Gun」の最新トレイラーが公開。サイバーマスティフ犬と共にさまざまなミッションを請け負え

　Focus Home Interactiveは，「ウォーハンマー 40,000」の世界観をベースにしたアクションシューティング「Necromunda: Hired Gun」（PC / PS5 / PS4 / Xbox Series X / Xbox One）の最新トレイラーを公開した。


　「Necromunda: Hired Gun」は，「ウォーハンマー 40,000」の世界一端にある惑星プライムハイブが，物語の舞台となる。プライブハイブでは，数キロの高さを持つ高層ビルや工場が立ち並び，1つの大きな都市が形成されている。その地下には，廃材や公害による煙やガスで光が届かず，法さえも及ばない無法地帯“アンダーハイブ”が存在する。そこでは，モヒカンタトゥーの暴漢たちが“ハウス”というギャング団を結成し，日々抗争に明け暮れているのだ。


　そんな世界でプレイヤーは，特定の勢力に属さないバウンティハンターとなり，高圧的な武器商人のハウス・オーロック，科学薬物の取り扱いを専門にするハウス・エッシャー，そして筋肉増強や機械化などで力仕事を請け負うハウス・ゴライアスなどに取り入ってさまざまな仕事を請け負っていく。
　プレイヤーキャラクターだけでなく，相棒のサイバーマスティフ犬も自由にカスタマイズ可能であり，爽快感のある戦闘も楽しめる様子だ。


　開発を行うフランスのStreum On Studioは，過去にはFocus Home InteractiveからFPS「Space Hulk: Deathwing」の開発を委託されるなどの経験がある。その後に正式に買収されて，傘下メーカーとなった。それだけアクションゲームの開発力が期待されていることが分かる。現時点で日本語化の予定はなさそうだが，発売日の2021年6月10日までまだ期間はあるので，それまでの続報に期待したい。
