「アサシン クリード4　ブラック フラッグ」のティザーサイトがオープン。主人公エドワードを紹介する最新ムービーも公開

　ユービーアイソフトは本日（2013年3月5日），発売を予定している「アサシン クリード4　ブラック フラッグ」（PC/PlayStation 4/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360/Wii U。以下，ブラック フラッグ）のティザーサイトを公開した。

　昨日掲載した記事でもお伝えしたように，「アサシン クリード」シリーズの最新作となるブラック フラッグでは，「アサシン クリードIII」の主人公を務めたコナーの祖父，エドワード・ケンウェイを新たな主人公として，1715年の西インド諸島が描かれることになる。時は海賊の黄金時代。エドワードは，自分の海賊船「ジャックドー号」でカリブ海狭しと冒険や戦闘を繰り広げるという。
　「エツィオ三部作」のように，コナーの冒険が引き続き描かれるのではないかという（もっぱら筆者の）予想を覆し，ナンバリングタイトルで，しかも時代を遡るというシリーズとしては異例の展開を見せたブラック フラッグ。前作で話題になった「海戦」が大幅にリニューアルされ，海の戦いが大きく扱われるというあたりもかなり異色だ。


　オープンしたティザーサイトでは，先日の「ワールドプレミアトレーラー」に引き続き，エドワードを紹介する最新ムービーを見ることができる。ティザーなのでよく分からないものの，歴代のアサシン達に比べて海の男らしい荒々しさが強く感じられ，シリーズに新しい血を注いでくれそうな印象だ。
