欧米で3月15日に発売される「Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2」のローンチトレイラー公開。最後にヤツの心に響くのは……俺の銃弾だぜ

　ポーランドのCity Interactiveは，欧米で2013年3月15日に発売されるFPS「Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2」（PC/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360）のローンチトレイラーを公開した。

　Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2は，一撃必殺のスナイパーをテーマにしたFPSで，プレイヤーは警備コンサルタント会社の職員，要するに傭兵としてサラエボ，ミャンマー，チベットなどに乗り込み，依頼されたターゲットを仕留めていくことになる。距離や風の強さ，天候などはもちろんのこと，プレイヤーキャラクターの「落ち着き」といった効果が狙撃の精度に関わってくるというリアルな演出が施されている。また，狙撃だけでなく，敵の背後から忍び寄ってナイフを振るったり，ターゲットを倒したあと，オートバイに乗って脱出するといったこともできる。


　さらに，「CryENGINE 3」をライセンスしたグラフィックスも印象的で，山岳地帯から都市，ジャングルなど，狙撃の舞台となる土地が細かく描かれている。トレイラーでは，「最後にヤツの心に響くのは……俺の銃弾だぜ」というようなキメゼリフや，ヘリコプターの操縦士を狙撃するシーンなども確認でき，前作「Sniper: Ghost Warrior」に比べて，かなりアクション性の高い内容になっていることが分かるはずだ。
